  • Are The Mavericks The Team To Beat In The Western Conference?
     

    According to Full Court Press co-host, Mike P. The Dallas Mavericks will represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals. He feels this way despite the fact that the San Antonio Spurs have the best record in the NBA and the 2 time defending NBA Champion, Los Angeles Lakers recently beat the Mavericks in Dallas.

    Herc strongly disagrees with Mike P’s prediction and forces him to explain himself in further detail. His reasoning for picking Dallas may surprise you.

  • Bulls Move Past Celtics, Miami Heating Up
     

    The Chicago Bulls have taken over the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Miami Heat defeated the Lakers and the Spurs in the past few days. As the NBA regular season winds down, several seeding questions still loom: Can the Heat catch Boston or Chicago? Can the Magic hold on to the 4th seed? Speaking of the Magic, we wonder aloud why Dwight Howard doesn’t touch the ball on virtually every possession.

  • NFL Owners Keep Books Closed- Players Decide to Decertify the Players Union
     

    NFL team owners have begun their lockout. The NFLPA has decertified and turned to the courts and antitrust laws to force an agreement. NFL owners filed a grievance with the National Labor Relations Board, hoping to have the decertification ruled a sham. Meanwhile, Peyton Manning and Drew Breeze headline a group filing an anti-trust law suit against the NFL.

    How can a team that never won a Conference Title or a National Title still be relevant 20 years later? The answer is simple and complex at the same time: Michigan’s Fab 5 of the early 90′s were trend-setters, defiant, rebellious, feared, loved and misunderstood all at the same time. It becomes easy to forget that they were a good basketball team.

    The NCAA Men’s basketball tournament is here. This season we’ve got two more days of basketball, due to the expanded tournament field. Who were the Snubs, and who got seeded too high. Wil and our new college basketball host Craig V. discuss the NCAA Mens basketball bracket, as everyone prepares to get their brackets in order.

  • Florida Gators start spring football drills as Muschamp starts to rebuild
     

    The University of Florida Gators begin spring football practice next week (March 16), as new head coach Will Muschamp begins his tenure as head coach. Gator fans will be watching to see what clues about the upcoming Gator team will be revealed during the 15 days of practice. Wil and Herc take a look at the Gator football program as they head into spring drills.

  • NFL Players Union Tells Owners To “Show Me The Money”
     

    The term of the day in the ongoing labor discussions between the NFL Players Union and the NFL Owners is “Financial Transparency”. The owners want the players to agree to an 18% pay cut in the new labor agreement. The Players Union want the Owners to show why this pay cut is needed. The Owners have disclosed some financial statements but the Players Union don’t feel like they’ve shown them enough. The Owners have indicated that they won’t show anymore.
