The Florida State Seminoles have completed spring practice. The culmination was the Annual Garnet & Gold game which was won by the Garnet team 19-17. Both defenses were dominant as expected tallying 12 sacks, 2 interceptions and countless pressures. Despite the offensive struggles, there were some positives to take away: Clint Trickett has emerged as the #2 quarterback and the 4 receivers signed in 2010 all have a bright future. Defensively, several things stood out. It appears Lamarcus Joyner will be a starting safety. Telvin Smith proves he can play Mike (middle linebacker). Avis Commack provides the Seminoles another physical cornerback. The Defensive line will have more depth in 2011 than it did in 2010.
