I wish UF had the sack to play Miami this year. But I guess only beating Miami once since 1985 is a good enough reason not to schedule Miami every year if your looking through orange and blues glasses………..

If you’re unfamiliar with Florida college football the rivalries run deep. FSU fans have a deep hatred for the Gators and Hurricanes. Gator fans can’t stand the other two teams. The same goes for Canes fans. But the rivalry between Gators and Canes fans runs a little deeper, and tends to be a little more tense.

As we get closer to the kickoff of the 2011 college football season, the smack talk has started to begin among UFR Sports fans. Canes fans will always bring up the fact that the Gators, not the Canes, stopped playing the series.

“The UM program not worthy, UF has nothing to gain by playing UM. UM program is irrelevant, The SEC conference schedule is brutal. Based on the current BCS formula UF gains nothing by playing UM”. Meanwhile LSU, Bama and UGA open up every season playing legit BCS opponents and a certain SEC team sticks to the Floyd Mayweather formula, blah blah blah. Hold up Christan here it comes “Canes Fans always…blah blah blah”. Gainesville, Title town USA home of the Florida Mayweathers…………lol

Canes fans crying about UF not playing you is a straw man argument.

It’s your desperate attempt to clutch to relevance. You can talk, becuz we’ll never be able to go back in time. So you can talk about would of and could’ve been. We talk about the SEC and National Championships we won.

The Canes can’t even play in the ACC Championship Game, but think their team is on the same level as a team winning the SEC Championship. Yeah, Canes fans, keep living the fantasy..
