The Renegade Report - Defense Dominant In Shutout Victory [ 45:04 ] Play Now | Play in Popup | DownloadIt’s not an overstatement or exaggeration to say the Seminoles defense was dominant in their 34-0 victory over North Carolina State. Mark Stoops’ unit forced 3 turnovers, had 4 sacks and 6 pass breakups. In addition, they held the Wolfpack to 166 total yards (130 passing, 36 rushing). What’s more impressive is the defense tallied these stats with relatively quiet days from Brandon Jenkins and Bjoern Werner.
Offensively, some Seminole fans feel like EJ Manuel played his most complete game as a starting quarterback. He threw for 321 yards and 2 touchdowns. More importantly, he seemed to have complete command of the offense; making the correct pre-snap reads and checking into the right plays.
In this episode, Herc & Nolebra Kai recap the victory over NC State and preview Thursday night’s game against Boston College.
