The Al Golden Era at Miami kicked off to mixed reviews in 2011. While there was improvement in certain areas like toughness and accountability, the Hurricanes defense seemingly took a step backwards from the 2010 season and the win / loss record didn’t reflect progress either.

In part 1 of a 2 part season recap of the 2011 Miami Hurricanes, BG1906 and Esteban start by recapping the USF victory and the Boston College loss.

Next, they hand out grades for the offense, defense, special teams and coaching for the 2011 season.

Finally, they talk about Al Golden’s contract extension through the 2020 season.
