History ALMOST made in March Madness

Never has a 16 seed beat a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.  That almost happened yesterday when UNC Asheville gave Syracuse all they could handle.  There were some awful calls by the refs at the end of the game that robbed UNC Asheville a chance to make history.

Higher seeds dominate tournament play

Higher seeds with 14-2 yesterday.  The only “upsets” were 12 seed VCU defeating 5 seed Wichita St. and 11 seed Colorado defeating 6 seed UNLV.

Dwight Howard stays with the Orlando Magic

Magic fans can celebrate today but could very well be worrying again this time next year.  The owner offered Dwight final say on the future of Otis Smith and Stan Van Gundy in Orlando, it’ll be interesting to see if he exercises that power.  Stay Tuned.

Mario Williams gets $50 million guaranteed

The full contract is 6 years $96 million.  People are criticizing the amount of the contract but Bills’ owner Ralph Wilson is 93 years old and he wants to win now.  When asked about it, he said “I can’t take the money with me when I’m gone”
