The Renegade Report – Noles Dominate Wake, Showdown With Clemson Looms

FSU’s 52 – 0 shutout of Wake Forest may have been the most complete came during Jimbo Fisher’s tenure as head coach. The offense was led by Chris Thompson who rushed for 197 yards on 9 carries.  It was also a measure of revenge against the team that ended his 2011 season.

Defensively, the Noles held Wake Forest to 126 total yards, had 4 sacks and 11 tackles for loss.  The special teams featured another punt return for a touchdown by Rashad Greene and Cason Beatty routinely pinning the Demon Deacons deep in their own territory with his punts.

In this episode of The Renegade Report, Herc & Nolebra Kai recap the Noles’ destruction of the Demon Deacons.  We also preview Saturday’s primetime showdown against the Clemson Tigers.
