The offense was led by Chris Thompson who rushed for 197 yards on 9 carries. It was also a measure of revenge against the team that ended his 2011 season.
Defensively, the Noles held Wake Forest to 126 total yards, had 4 sacks and 11 tackles for loss. The special teams featured another punt return for a touchdown by Rashad Greene and Cason Beatty routinely pinning the Demon Deacons deep in their own territory with his punts.
