The Florida Gators and the Butler Bulldogs do battle today in the first game of the Elite 8. UConn and Arizona will battle for a spot in the Final Four. Wil and Craig preview the NCAA March Madness Elite 8 games on Saturday and Sunday— including their predictions.
Duke and Ohio State Fall in NCAA March Madness Sweet 16
The two days of the NCAA Mens Basketball tournament Sweet 16 saw two more number one seeds go down. Arizona wore down Duke, in spite of an impressive game by Kyrie Irving. Ohio State went down in a classic tournament battle against Kentucky. VCU keeps wearing the slipper with their win over Florida State.
VCU Continues to Wear the Glass Slipper as March Madness Moves to the Sweet 16
VCU won their third game of the tournament, by crushing Purdue to make their way into the Sweet 16. Marquette and FSU also score big upsets to join the group of Cinderellas crashing the big dance this year.
Butler Breaks Brackets Win Over Pitt, Florida Gators Beat UCLA and BYU Rolls
BYU rolled to an easy victory behind a big night from Jimmer. Butler played bracket buster with their win over Pitt— a game marred by mental breakdowns by both teams super stars. Florida Gators guard Erving Walker came through in the clutch to help the Gators get the win over UCLA.
Marquette, Florida State, George Mason and VCU Get Upsets on Day 3 of March Madness
Day 3 of March Madness brought four more upsets. Craig V laments his Georgetown Hoyas' loss to VCU, as John Thompson III goes down in the first round for a second straight year. Kyrie Irving makes his return for Duke. And Bruce Pearl may have coached his last game for the Tennessee Volunteers.
Moorehead State Upsets Louisville in March Madness
Moorehead State gets the NCAA Mens basketball tournament's first big upset, defeating Louisville on the first day of March Madness. St. John's also became a victim to a lower seed, as the Big East looks to live up to it's reputation.
